2.1 Mohave Cork Full Nelson (heel cup)

  Over two decades we've been making sandals for you, and we've experimented with a lot of fabrics and materials, outside of our rope.  

This project has been a work in progress for a while.  The idea here was to create a sandal that still give you that lightweight and flexible Nomadic experience that you have known to grow and love.  We went through many variations before coming to this footbed.  The difference on the 2.0 vs the 1.0 or 1.2, a different footbed all together.  This molded footbed has a heel cup, arch support, and metatarsal support.   And it bends! unlike a lot of other cork beds that are stiff, ours you can fold in half; this is due to the added rubber with the ground cork.  Covered with a layer of 1mm cork or linen, this is surely one of the most interesting footwear we have made in years.  

We have been testing these out for a while.  This is a comfort sandal.
