MTT Collective began as a dream of a "stay-at-home mom" who wanted to do more with her life and creativity without being away from her kids. Karyss Bollen began making jewelry at home while the kids took naps, went to school, and slept at night. She started selling the jewelry at farmers' markets in Sacramento, eventually buying a custom travel trailer (My Trendy Trailer...MTT...get it?) to sell at markets and events all throughout the region. Over the years, the jewelry has become a staple in her 3 brick-and-mortar stores in Folsom, CA, and several other regional retailers.
